It Started with a Need

When I wanted to make biltong for myself, I struggled to find a box that felt worthy of the tradition — something functional and beautiful. Most were plastic or cheaply made. So I decided to build my own.

Using the skills I’d honed in woodworking, I began crafting boxes from solid timber, carefully ventilated and designed to do more than just dry meat — I wanted them to look good in a kitchen, shed, or man cave.

That’s when Moose Australia’s first biltong box was born.

Every box is made by hand with quality materials and attention to detail:
